This album of picture about caves in VietNam, Laos and ThaiLand photographed by Australia photographer John Spies – who has 30 years of experience
SonDoong is the biggest natural cave in the world, belong to population of Phong Nha – Ke Bang caves in Bo Trach, Quang Binh. After a trip of England Royal cave’s association, the cave has atractted many of tourists.
John Spies – as a lucky one who had visit Son Doong, he shared: “Cave long 5 km and have many of rock post. To take this picture, he must use 3 LED to light up the cave.”


The cave have a big gap, so natural light can expose inside. John Spices joked: “Be aware of dinosaurs
Another unforgettable travel of John Spies is Tham Khuon Xe, Laos. Because of Xe Bang Fai river had created this cave, so it’s named by this river
Besides kayak boat, you can walk to visit Tham Khuon Xe.
Tham Huep like a tunnel with 1,3 km long. In many centuries, caves has been used like a crossroad to go to valley with many heritages
John Spies is a photographer of Australia and now he lives in Mae Hong Son, ThaiLand. So that he spent his time to visit caves in ThaiLand.
Tham Lod is a big cave in Mae Hong Son. This is one of 80 caves John Spies has visit.
John Spies said that just a few of caves can access by kayak boat or mountain claim skills. John now manage a hotel named Cave Lodge in ThaiLand.
